Erica Irlbeck is an instructor in agricultural communications at Texas Tech University. She received her bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications from Oklahoma State University in 1998 and worked in television agricultural news, farm radio, public relations and advertising. In 2007 she received her master’s in agricultural communications from Texas Tech.

Erica teaches two courses at Texas Tech: Scientific Communications in Agriculture and Natural Resources and Video Production in Agriculture. She is currently pursing her doctorate in agricultural education.

In her spare time, Erica enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, who also works at Texas Tech in the marketing and communications office. Together, they enjoy traveling, gardening, watching television and playing with their dog, Patsy Cline.
