Quisto is a graduate student in agricultural communications at Texas Tech University and is a member of the Agricultural Education and Communications Graduate Student Organization. He received his bachelor’s degree from Angelo State University in May 2007, graduating summa cum laude. Also while at ASU, he was a member of Alpha Chi Honor Society and was on the Dean’s List every semester. He was a member of ASU’s Wool Judging team in spring 2005. In his second undergraduate year, he worked as the sports editor for the university paper, and in his third and final year at ASU, he was the paper’s copy editor.
