Scott Burris is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Education and Communications at Texas Tech University. He teaches courses in agricultural education at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Burris holds a Ph.D. and M.S. degree in Agricultural Education from the University of Missouri and a B.S. degree in Agricultural Education from Texas Tech University. Burris has conducted research in curriculum and instruction, instructional design, and teaching and learning. Before joining the faculty at Texas Tech, Burris taught secondary agriculture for ten years. Burris is an active member of the American Association for Agricultural Education.
