DROUGHT IN GEORGIA AFFECTS EVERYONE!
- This
affects everyone because a shortage in Georgia, which has a growing population,
means that there will be more demands for water with a decreased supply.
- Taking
into consideration the dry weather the United States have
been experiencing, it has put a strain on water supply,
especially in the western and southeastern portions of the
country.

drought in the southeast has led to a tri-state water war
over federal water resources.
- This is
showing everyone that water is truly not an unlimited
resource, so we need to wake up.
- Sonny
Perdue, the governor of Georgia, has declared level four
drought conditions for 61 counties in Georgia.
- Many
cities that rely on reservoirs in Georgia for their water
are facing water shortages because these reservoirs are
starting to dry up.
- The
large city of Atlanta depends on the Chattahoochee River for
water sources, and the river is not big enough to supply
this city of five million.
